Duties
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET, MVC, and related frameworks.
- Collaborate on front-end development tasks utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, and UI/UX best practices to create engaging user interfaces.
- Develop and optimize backend systems with.NET technologies, Entity Framework, RESTful APIs, and WCF services for seamless data exchange.
- Participate in system design discussions, UML modeling, and architecture planning to ensure scalable and efficient solutions.
- Write clean, efficient code with an emphasis on unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality standards.
- Support database design and management using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and MongoDB for reliable data storage.
- Contribute to Agile software development processes by attending sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and code reviews using version control tools like GitHub, TFS, SVN.
- Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Visual Studio and Azure DevOps to streamline deployment processes.
- Work on integrating cloud infrastructure services like AWS or Azure for deployment scalability and reliability in distributed computing environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field; relevant experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of ASP.NET frameworks (including ASP.NET MVC), Web services (SOAP/REST), and WCF.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks like React or AngularJS.
- Knowledge of database systems including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL; experience with database design is preferred.
- Experience with application design principles including OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), UML modeling, system architecture concepts.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git or SVN; experience with TFS is advantageous.
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying distributed systems is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug effectively using Visual Studio or Eclipse IDEs.
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
