Description of Responsibilities
The Delivery Technician is responsible for safely transporting, setting up, and demonstrating products to patients.
This role includes ensuring proper installation, educating patients on product use, and providing excellent customer
service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses good mechanical skills, and is committed to patient
satisfaction.

Scope of Supervision
Responsibilities of the Delivery Technician include the following:
1. Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients.
2. Safely load, transport, and unload products to patients in a timely manner.
3. Set up products according to specifications and ensure they are operational and ready for patient use.
4. Educate patients on product functionality, features, and proper use.
5. Keep accurate records of products delivered, maintain delivery logs, and report any inventory issues.
6. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs during setup, report significant issues to the technical
team.
7. Address patient questions and concerns, providing courteous and professional service at all times.
8. Complete delivery paperwork, obtain patient signatures, and document any special requests or issues
encountered.
9. Regularly inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
10. Perform cleaning and simple maintenance of delivery vehicle.
11. Report product incidents in compliance with company policy.
12. Participate in training / education programs provided by the company.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
14. Must be willing and comfortable driving throughout the Chicagoland area.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
3. Experience in a delivery, installation, or technical support role preferred.
4. Basic mechanical or technical skills; ability to operate hand and power tools.
5. Organizational skills are sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.

successfully perform the essential functions in this job description:
1. Lifting and Carrying: Delivery employees may need to lift, carry, and move equipment / packages, typically
ranging from 10 to 70 pounds. In some cases, there may be a need to handle items up to 150 pounds, with
assistance.
2. Walking and Standing: Continuous walking and standing are required, especially for delivery roles in urban
or large industrial areas. This may include walking up and down stairs or on uneven terrain.
3. Bending, Stooping, and Kneeling: Employees need to bend and kneel to pick up equipment/ packages,
place them down safely, and sometimes arrange items in trucks or delivery vehicles.
4. Reaching and Pulling: Reaching above shoulders and pulling items are common when retrieving items from
delivery trucks and securing equipment / packages.
5. Hand-Eye Coordination: Basic coordination is necessary for tasks like handling scanning devices,
navigating hand-held devices for delivery management, and safely driving delivery vehicles.
6. Driving: Many delivery employees must be able to safely operate a delivery vehicle. This often involves
meeting a minimum vision requirement, having a clean driving record, and possessing the strength and
agility to manage the physical aspects of vehicle operation.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
