We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Recruiter for a global technology and distribution company based in Romeoville, IL.
This is a contingent, Temp-to-hire role
$90,000-$100,000 DOE
This person would be responsible for recruitment activities for operations in the USA and Canada.
As recruitment responsibilities extend beyond the main location, a willingness to travel is essential. You will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and play a key role in ensuring an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
As our Recruiter, you will:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for positions across USA and/ or Canada
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand current and future talent needs and provide strategic recruitment advice
- Create compelling job advertisements and recruitment campaigns that attract high-quality candidates
- Conduct interviews and support managers throughout the selection and decision-making process
- Proactively source and engage candidates through various channels, including professional networks, social media, job boards, and direct sourcing activities
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions
- Drive continuous improvement, optimization, and standardization of recruitment processes and tools
- Act as a key link between local stakeholders and internal global recruiter community
- Lead and support employer branding initiatives, including participation in career fairs, university partnerships, networking events, and other talent attraction activities
- Monitor and report recruitment KPIs and leverage data-driven insights to improve hiring effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensure a positive candidate experience and promote company values throughout the recruitment process
- Travel to various locations across USA as required to support recruitment and employer branding activities
Profile and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you are a motivated and collaborative recruitment professional who thrives in an international environment and enjoys building strong relationships across cultures and functions.
We expect that the following qualifications resonate with you:
- Several years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a closely related HR field
- Relevant academic background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar discipline
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes across different job functions and levels
- Strong active sourcing skills and experience identifying and engaging passive candidates
- Ability to independently manage multiple recruitment projects while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience optimizing recruitment processes, systems, and workflows
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills, with the ability to build credibility with hiring managers and business leaders
- Experience with Workday or another HCM/ATS platform is considered an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential
- Fluency in at least one additional language (e.g. French, Spanish, etc.) is recommended
- Experience recruiting across multiple countries and cultures is considered a strong advantage
- Willingness and ability to travel within USA and across the NAM region as business needs require
