Description of role:
The Wag Receptionist is in charge of receiving incoming daycare and boarding dogs and ensuring dogs are checked in correctly and in a timely manner. They are responsible for all aspects of the front desk including booking reservations, checking out clients, and handling customer issues. The ideal candidate is comfortable with dogs as it is a very hands on job. Wag Receptionists are also trained to do dog baths and nail trims and are the primary point for departure baths.
Other job duties include, but are not limited to: vet transport, various cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Skills and requirements:
The ideal candidate must be comfortable being around large groups of dogs. Must be a team player that can adapt to a busy environment. A self motivated individual with excellent customer service skills is preferred.
Work schedule:
WAG-A-LOT is open 365 days a year and has two shifts: 6:30am-1pm and 12pm-7:30pm. The ideal candidate MUST be able to work weekends.
