Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their motorcycle concerns and service needs
- Write detailed service orders, accurately estimating repair costs and timeframes using auto estimating tools
- Communicate clearly with technicians about customer concerns and ensure all repairs are completed to high standards
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs, promoting safety and performance enhancements
- Manage vehicle intake and delivery efficiently, maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the process
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain detailed service records
- Stay informed about the latest Harley-Davidson models, accessories, and service procedures to provide expert advice
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience in auto service management or as a service technician advisor
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension, tire service, shocks & struts, alignment, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repair
- Experience in automotive repair or mechanic roles with understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Proficiency in auto estimating software and sales techniques to promote additional services or products
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain organized records
- Knowledge of dealership operations including upselling, vehicle sales support, and inventory management
