Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Construction Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in various phases of construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and building tasks. Your energy and attention to safety will contribute to the successful completion of projects on time and within scope. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing and leveling work areas to ensure safe and efficient construction activities
- Operate power tools and manual equipment safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution
- Handle materials and equipment with proper manual handling techniques and heavy lifting practices in accordance with safety standards
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards and use of personal protective equipment such as respiratory protection
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures safely to access work areas at various heights
- Support team members in implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and maintaining a hazard-free work environment
Requirements
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with construction tools and equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards is essential
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining proper ergonomics
- Comfortable climbing ladders or scaffolding as needed for different project phases
- Familiarity with respiratory protection equipment and safety regulations related to airborne hazards
- Prior experience working with power tools such as drills, saws, or grinders is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $30.73 per hour
