Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team and help create an exceptional experience for our clients and patients. As the first point of contact for our hospital, you will play an important role in providing outstanding customer service while supporting the smooth daily operation of our front desk.
Qualifications:
- Previous veterinary receptionist experience preferred (minimum one year strongly encouraged)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling sensitive client conversations and urgent situations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility with scheduling is a plus
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and their pets with a warm, compassionate, and professional attitude
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones, responding to emails, and providing exceptional customer service
- Schedule appointments, assist with client questions, and communicate important information regarding patient care and clinic services
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate client and patient records
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and team members to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent care
- Handle client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-focused approach
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, scanning, inventory management, and maintaining office supplies
- Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
- Support daily hospital operations and uphold our commitment to providing quality and compassionate animal care
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Required)
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Front desk: 1 year (Preferred)
