Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician (TDLR Cosmetology / Nail Technician Licensed) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care for at least one year of experience; and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for clients. Your expertise in various techniques and trends will help enhance the overall client experience. Commission on services plus 100% of tips.

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gel nails, Dip, Rubber, Builder, Polygel and nail art.
- Maintain sanitation standards by keeping tools and workstations clean and organized.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide informed suggestions to clients.
- Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and products to enhance their experience.
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the client’s nail health or beauty routine.
- Assist with retail sales of nail care products and other beauty items available in the salon.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and positive work environment.
Skills
- Strong understanding of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate shades.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Background in cosmetology with experience in nail care techniques.
- Familiarity with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, esthetic laser treatment, and dermabrasion is a plus.
- Retail math skills for effective sales transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to upsell services while maintaining client satisfaction.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,200.00 per week
