Position Overview
We are seeking a Plumbing Install Technician specializing heavily in the installation, diagnostic setup, and servicing of residential water treatment systems. You will be the face of our craftsmanship, transforming a home’s water quality by installing top-tier whole-home filtration, water softeners, and reverse osmosis systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Expert Installations: Install whole-house water filtration systems, water conditioners/softeners, UV purification systems, iron filters, and under-sink Reverse Osmosis (RO) units.
- Plumbing Adaptations: Safely alter and tie into existing residential PEX, copper, and PVC main lines, ensuring neat, leak-free configurations.
- System Start-Up & Testing: Program digital control valves (regeneration cycles, hardness levels) and conduct post-installation water testing to verify performance.
- Client Education: Walk the homeowner through their new system, explaining how it works, bypass operations, and basic maintenance (such as salt or filter changes).
- Diagnostics & Upgrades: Assess existing older systems for retrofits, troubleshoot pressure issues, and offer honest recommendations for upgrades.
- Maintain Standards: Keep your service vehicle organized and clean, stocked with the proper fittings and tools for daily routes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of residential plumbing installation experience. Specific experience with water softeners and water treatment equipment is highly preferred.
- Technical Savvy: Strong knowledge of residential water flow plumbing, pressure tanks, and basic control valve programming.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Greater Charlotte area’s water landscapes (both municipal city water and private well-water systems) is a major plus.
- Customer-First Attitude: Alignment with our "no pressure, honest advice" policy. You must be polite, clean-cut, and professional in customers' homes.
- Credentials: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Plumbing license or WQA (Water Quality Association) certifications are a strong plus but not required.
