We're looking for a head of media buying / lead media buyer based in the U.S. who’s already actively working inside accounts spending 7 figures per month on Meta and/or Google (if you aren't please do not apply).
We want someone who lives and breathes media buying, is obsessed with data and scaling ads, and loves working with elite creative teams (we have 9 video editors and 4 creative strategists).
I want someone who is hungry and wants to earn a lot of money, is totally good with the idea of working some weekends, and ultimately just loves the game of media buying.

About Lead Rush
Lead Rush is a fast-growing performance marketing agency that helps personal injury law firms generate more signed auto accident cases through paid social and search.
We currently manage $3–4M+ per month in ad spend, and we’re scaling aggressively.
We test more creatives, across more platforms, than almost any agency in our space.
That means:
- More data
- Faster feedback loops
- More opportunities to win
The Role
This is not a traditional media buyer role. We don’t need someone who just clicks buttons and can’t innovate and take over the media buying department. We don’t need someone who is fine with just getting told what to do. If you're looking for a slow paced, chill, and relaxing job, please do not apply. If you don't have quick communication, do not apply.
What we need is someone who can take ownership of the full media buying strategy and drive growth across platforms, states, and creatives.
We need someone who can bridge the gap between media buying and the creative team and use the data to help them create more winners. You won’t just optimize ads across campaigns, you’ll spot ads and angles that are starting to work, rapidly expand those across new states/geos, and drive volume in underperforming states.
You'll be owning performance on both Meta and Google
If you can look at performance, see patterns instantly, and make smart scaling moves fast, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Own overall media buying performance across Meta and Google
- Manage and optimize high-spend campaigns across Meta and Google (YouTube, Search, and Performance Max)
- Lead cross-platform and state-level budget strategy, determining where we should scale, cut, or reallocate spend to hit volume and profitability goals
- Own monthly and weekly spend planning/pacing across platforms and states
- Own our key media buying Google Sheets and reporting, ensuring performance data, spend tracking, pacing, and other critical sheets are accurate and up to date
- Continuously improve Meta and YouTube performance through testing, optimization, and creative expansion
- Scale Search and Performance Max into profitable, high-volume channels
- Launch ad creatives across Meta, Google, and TikTok
- Identify ads and angles that are starting to work and rapidly scale them across new states and markets
- “This is working here → launch it here, here, and there.”
- “This angle is hitting on Meta → let’s test it on YouTube or TikTok.”
- “This angle is doing really well right now → let’s expand it into these formats.”
- “This state-specific ad is working really well → let’s make it for the rest of the geos.”
- “We don’t have enough image ads or UGC ads here → let’s get more going.”
- Drive volume in underperforming states by identifying what’s holding them back and building a clear plan to improve performance
- Analyze winning ads across other states and platforms to identify opportunities to bring them into underperforming markets
- Analyze creative diversity within each state to identify missing formats, styles, angles, or concepts we should be testing
- Analyze competitors to identify new creative and media buying opportunities
- Push for more variations of winning angles and ads that have potential to become winners
- Identify state/city-specific opportunities
- Translate performance data into clear creative direction
- Make sure the creative team knows what’s working, what’s starting to work, and what we need more of
- Bring new media buying strategies, tests, and ideas to the table instead of waiting to be told what to do
- Scaling opportunities
- Budget reallocation opportunities
- Inefficiencies
- Gaps in testing
- New channels or strategies worth testing
- Help lead the media buying department, improve processes/SOPs, and hold the team to a high standard as we continue to grow
This is not a “set it and forget it” role.
This is a think fast, act fast, win fast role.
What Makes This Role Different
Most media buyers optimize what’s already working.
In this role, you’re expected to:
- Bring new ideas to the media buying department (keeping up with trends in other verticals / spaces and see how we can implement them here) and be excited to implement them
- Not just optimize the campaigns and click buttons
- Push the creative team forward and keep them in the loop on ads starting to do well, variations that can be made, and areas in which we can do better on
- Continuously look for scaling opportunities and budget relocation opportunities
- Be obsessed with performance and wanting to see what we can do daily to drive more volume and driver lower CPLs / lower cost per conversion
Who This Is NOT For
This role is NOT for you if:
- You’re not based in the United States
- You’ve never worked inside 7 figure monthly spend ad accounts
- You don't have quick communication
- You fail to take ownership / accountability
- You want slow days, rigid structure, or hand-holding
- You lack urgency, curiosity, or competitive drive
- You just want to push buttons and call it a day
- You’re scared to be wrong
- You lack innovation and don’t bring new ideas to the table
- You don’t know what creative diversity is and don’t have experience with creatives
Who This IS For
This role IS for you if:
- You’ve personally managed $1M+ per month in ad spend
- You can oversee performance across both Meta and Google
- You can look at millions in spend and confidently determine where the next dollar should go
- You can spot a winning ad early and know where to scale it
- You're highly analytical and extremely comfortable with spreadsheets/data
- You fully understand creative diversity and how it impacts performance
- You think in angles, patterns, distribution, and budgets—not just campaigns
- You bring new ideas instead of waiting for instructions
- You take ownership when performance is struggling
- You’re obsessed with getting better every week
- You want exposure to massive budgets, elite creatives, and real decision-making
- You want your income to scale with your impact
If you “love the game,” which we call ads, you’ll feel at home here.
