Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 / year + Performance Bonus (DOE)

About Us:
We run a large-scale logistics operation partnering with FedEx Ground, operating a fleet of over 40 trucks across a high-mileage Contractual Service Area (CSA) split between a main terminal and a dedicated northern relay station. Due to recent company expansion, we have structured our management team into a highly collaborative, multi-manager environment.
Position Summary:
The Workforce Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operational activities, supporting workforce management, and ensuring the successful execution of Ace Deliveries, Inc.'s delivery operations. This leadership position serves as a key point of contact between drivers, management, customers, and business partners while maintaining high standards of safety, service, and operational efficiency.
The Workforce Manager is expected to lead by example, support company objectives, and assist in all areas necessary to ensure smooth and effective operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Staffing & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and seasonal staffing schedules.
- Ensure adequate route coverage at all times.
- Coordinate manager schedules to maintain a minimum of two managers on duty during week day and one on Saturday.
- Manage employee attendance and scheduling adjustments as needed.
- Communicate with drivers/management on any scheduling changes.
Hiring & Onboarding
- Recruit, interview, and evaluate prospective employees.
- Coordinate hiring processes and employment documentation.
- Conduct new employee onboarding and orientation.
- Assist new hires in understanding company policies, procedures, and expectations.
Training & Development
- Train new employees on company procedures, safety requirements, and operational standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Assist in developing employees for advancement opportunities.
- Monitor employee performance and identify areas for improvement.
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Address employee concerns and workplace issues professionally.
- Administer corrective action and disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Maintain documentation regarding employee performance and disciplinary matters.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
Driver Responsibilities
- Perform delivery routes as needed during staffing shortages, peak periods, emergencies, vacations, or other operational needs.
- Serve as a role model for safe driving practices and customer service standards.
Administrative & Leadership Duties
- Participate in management meetings and operational planning.
- Communicate effectively with employees, customers, vendors, and company leadership.
- Assist with policy implementation and process improvements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by company ownership or senior management.
Work Schedule
This position is a full-time salaried management role. Work schedules will rotate in coordination with other management staff to ensure adequate operational coverage. Schedule flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and peak operational periods, may be required.

- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to meet all company and customer requirements necessary to operate delivery vehicles.
Reporting Relationship
This position reports directly to company ownership and senior management and works closely with all operational personnel to ensure successful execution of company objectives.
