Position Summary
We are seeking CNC Operators I to set up and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce quality parts according to production specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines under supervisor direction.
- Load programs and perform simple edits as needed.
- Inspect and measure parts using handheld measuring tools.
- Blend surfaces and remove or apply excess material using hand tools or machinery.
- Set up and use machines, fixtures, and tooling.
- Modify parts according to specifications.
- Maintain 5S, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Follow company procedures, production specifications, and ethical standards.
- Use computerized tracking systems as required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Passing grade on a job-related test.
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience using handheld measuring tools.
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
No specific licenses or certifications required.
Pay: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour
Experience:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines: 2 years (Preferred)
- safety, quality, environmental, and company procedures: 2 years (Preferred)
