Job Title: Procurement Operations Coordinator
Location: Remote, PST [candidates near San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA preferred]
The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $80.00 – $80.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employment Type: Temporary, approximately 1 year (08/11/2026 – 08/11/2027)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: M-F, approx 9 am-6 pm PST
Job Summary:
- Manage purchase request intake queue; review for completeness and flag missing fields
- Monitor SLAs and unblock stale requests; proactively communicate status to requesters
- Coordinate contract workflows, routing, and status tracking
- Support Slack triage by answering routine questions via documented playbook; escalate as needed
- Support office hours and stakeholder training on procurement processes
- Support month-end close: run stale/unbilled PO reports, review open POs, gather accrual/flux data
- Draft initial flux pattern summaries for select vendors
- Support process documentation, SOPs, decision trees, and How-To guides
- Identify recurring issues and opportunities for process improvement
Requirements:
- 3–5 years in procurement operations, accounts payable, finance/accounting, or related field
- Experience managing intake, workflows, and documentation
- Understanding of financial controls, accruals, and Budget vs. Actuals
- Experience supporting Sales & Marketing spend/contracting preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service mindset
- Process improvement experience
- Experience with Zip or similar procurement platform required; Ironclad a plus
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
