Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Attendant to join our team at a premier resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests at the wateeslides and pool area. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Pool Attendant will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing poolside activities and events.
Duties
- Monitor wateeslides and pool activities to ensure guest safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Assist in the management of poolside events, coordinating with other staff as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including furniture and amenities.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations while managing conflicts or issues that may arise among guests.
- Provide first aid or emergency assistance as needed, including lifeguard duties if certified.
- Engage with children and families to enhance their experience at the resort's pool facilities.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
- Familiarity with events management is a plus, especially in a resort setting.
- A background in lifeguarding or relevant certifications is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle guest interactions professionally.
- Public speaking abilities to communicate effectively with guests during events or announcements.
- Experience working with children is beneficial for engaging families at the pool area.
- A background in theater or performing arts can enhance guest interactions through creativity and engagement.
