Summary/ Objective:
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for helping keep our equipment running properly and our facility well maintained.
Essential Functions:
*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Inspecting equipment and performing any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required.
· Ensuring all maintenance equipment is in good working order.
· Taking apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
· Use of common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, sanders, and wrenches.
· Fix minor issues related to electricity, plumbing, and other systems.
Requirements:
· Proven general maintenance experience.
· The ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Excellent time management skills.
· Effective communication skills.
· Valid driver’s license.
Position Type:
· Full time, permanent position
· Hours of work: Monday - Friday
Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED.
