DESCRIPTION
Direct clinical responsibility for evaluation and treatment of assigned patients. Participates in the Professional Advisory, Clinical Record Review and PI Committees. Provides physical therapy related education/support to staff and/or the community as requested. Evaluates the job performance of contract and/or other staff physical therapists. Makes recommendations to the Supervisor of Ancillary Services whenever corrective/disciplinary action to be taken. When assigned, performs duties of Clinical Supervisor of Ancillary Services, including assignment, scheduling and prioritization of rehabilitation cases.
QUALIFICATIONS
Two years work experience as a staff Physical Therapist and a minimum of one year in Home Care preferred. NYS Licensure and current registration in Physical Therapy. BLS required. Experience using EPIC preferred.
