This is a high-impact role inside our manufacturing operation where you’ll partner directly with the Head of Finance and plant leadership to sharpen performance and unlock efficiency across the organization.

What You’ll Own
Financial Insight & Storytelling

Deliver clear, accurate, and timely financials (P&L, balance sheet)

Turn data into actionable insights, trends, and opportunities

Partner across Midwest Filtration to influence real business decisions
Cost & Operational Mastery

Dive deep into production costs, margins, and inventory performance

Identify inefficiencies and lead cost-saving initiatives that actually move the needle

Drive smarter use of resources across the plant

Ensure inventory accuracy, valuation, and control across operations

Partner with production and supply chain to improve turns and flow
Controls, Compliance & Audit

Safeguard financial integrity and ensure GAAP and policy compliance
-
Strengthen internal controls—don’t just maintain them

Own audits end-to-end and turn findings into improvements
Cash & Credit Leadership

Optimize the credit process and working capital performance

Drive cash efficiency improvements that strengthen the business
Leadership That Delivers

Lead and develop a high-performing AR/AP team

Serve as a trusted financial voice across Midwest Filtration
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA = a plus)
-
7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
-
Experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, and inventory management

A systems background (Epicor/ERP + Excel/Power BI skills)

A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality

Analytical thinking and decision-making confidence

Ability to communicate and influence from the plant floor to leadership team
