Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Plumbing Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires proficiency in project coordination, time management, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Commercial Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with all contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring all aspects are executed efficiently.
- Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Review and interpret blueprints and contract documents to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Primavera for effective project tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed project reports outlining progress, challenges, and solutions for stakeholders.
- Implement time management strategies to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial project management or construction management roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of contract documents.
- Familiarity with construction management software including Prolog and Civil 3D.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong project coordination abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites is essential.
