Position Overview
We are an award winning real estate law firm seeking a Litigation Attorney specializing in real estate and or business to join our Litigation team. The successful candidate will prosecute and defend foreclosure actions, pursue and defend quiet title claims, handle landlord-tenant disputes, eviction proceedings and lease litigation, and support transactional work including purchase and sale agreements, title disputes, closings, and due diligence. This role requires strong litigation experience, practical knowledge of real estate transactions and title work, and the ability to manage discovery, depositions, expert witnesses, settlements and appellate matters when necessary.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in all stages of litigation, including trial preparation and post-trial activities.

Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.

Draft and review contracts and other business-related documents.

Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.

Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.

Manage discovery process, including document review and production.

Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.
Qualifications
-
Licensed to practice in the state of TX
-
3+ years of experience in litigation- business, construction or real estate experience is a must

Must have courtroom experience- 1st or 2nd chair preferred but not required

Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures.

Excellent research and writing skills.

Proficient in drafting legal documents and correspondence.

Ability to negotiate effectively and manage client relationships.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
