Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Adult Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts to join our dynamic mental health care team. In this role, you will provide specialized psychiatric nursing care to adult patients in various inpatient and outpatient settings across different locations. Your expertise will support individuals experiencing mental health challenges, ensuring they receive safe, effective, and personalized care. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, including psychotropic agents, following prescribed protocols
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in mental or physical status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, medication management, and coping strategies
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed to ensure patient and staff safety
Qualifications:
- Active Maine RN License
- BLS Certification
- CPI Certification
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Adult Behavioral Health/Psych experience
- Willing to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox
- Associates Degree in Nursing required
Shift Timings : 3x 12hr shifts - Days

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
