MTC Environmental Services is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Environmental Services Supervisor to join our growing team. This individual will primarily serve at one of our client hospital locations in Midtown Atlanta, leading Environmental Services operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
In this critical leadership role, you will oversee daily EVS operations to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing janitorial personnel, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention, coordinating workflow across multiple departments, and supporting operational excellence throughout the facility.

Position Type: Temp-to-Permanent
Conversion Timeline: Eligible for permanent placement after 6 months based on performance and operational needs.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning, janitorial and custodial activities to ensure consistent quality standards are met
- Lead, motivate, and train environmental services staff to deliver exceptional service in line with organizational policies
- Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to maximize efficiency and accountability
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper equipment usage
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, laundry products, and equipment; place orders as needed
- Enforce health and safety regulations while promoting best practices in commercial cleaning and hospitality environments
- Collaborate with other departments to address special cleaning requests or project needs
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in environmental services, custodial management, or hospitality housekeeping management
- Strong background in cleaning techniques including general custodial duties
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Prior experience in hotel or healthcare environments is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physically demanding tasks

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
