Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Description: OpSource Staffing is hiring Production Associates for a rapidly growing manufacturing facility in Fountain Inn, SC. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with eligibility for permanent hire after approximately 90 days, based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

As a 2nd Shift Thermal Spray Booth Operator, you'll play a critical role in producing high-quality coated components by operating thermal spray equipment. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to follow detailed production and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Follow all production instructions, quality standards, company policies, and safety procedures.
Set up, operate, and monitor thermal spray equipment, including HVOF, APS, Cascade, Cold Spray, and other spray systems.
Load and unload customer parts while ensuring proper handling throughout the coating process.
Start, monitor, and safely shut down assigned spray booths.
Maintain proper spray patterns, monitor flame characteristics, and perform routine spray gun maintenance.
Prepare and load the correct powder materials for base, flash, and top coats in accordance with company procedures.
Adjust spray parameters based on work instructions and process requirements.
Complete production documentation accurately and support Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure customer specifications are consistently met.
Working Environment
This position is performed indoors in a manufacturing facility that is not climate controlled. Employees are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
Ability to frequently stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, climb, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work safely around industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Qualifications Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge of thermal spray processes and coating techniques (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret production travelers, technical instructions, and engineering drawings.
Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, scales, and other precision measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Basic math skills and the ability to work with standard units of measurement.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to workplace safety and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Monday–Friday
Voluntary Saturday shifts
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Training will take place on 1st shift and may last several weeks to a couple of months, depending on the individual.
