Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to a safe and hygienic food service environment. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment, following best sanitary practices & also following HACCP standards.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and ensuring timely service of clean dishes.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service practices, including food preparation and handling techniques.
- valid work permits.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen.
