Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, proper load handling, and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement.
- Follow established routes for delivery and pick-up, maintaining punctuality and efficiency throughout each shift.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or any issues encountered on the road.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, cargo details, and inspection reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years work experiance required along with proficency of speaking english
Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per week
