Rosina Food Products is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll play an important role in ensuring invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments are processed accurately and on time while supporting the month-end close process and maintaining financial records.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for:
- Review and process employee expense reports for accuracy and proper approvals.
- Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system while assigning the appropriate general ledger account codes.
- Verify invoice information prior to payment processing.
- Prepare and assist with weekly check runs.
- Scan and maintain accounts payable documentation electronically.
- Maintain organized accounts payable files and records.
- Partner with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries.
- Communicate with department managers regarding outstanding invoices and approvals.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Support the Finance team with special projects and additional administrative duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–3 years of Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Finance experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.
