Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain legal case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, deeds, correspondence, and reports with precision and attention to detail
- Assist attorneys with project management tasks by organizing schedules, tracking deadlines, and coordinating meetings or interviews involving clients or witnesses
- Perform data entry and document review to support case development and ensure compliance with legal standards
- Provide executive administrative support including managing calendars, handling phone inquiries with professional etiquette, and preparing reports or presentations as needed
- Support the firm’s document review processes by proofreading legal documents for accuracy and consistency while maintaining high standards of confidentiality
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal or legal administrative experience with familiarity in Notarial matters
- Proficiency in drafting deeds, affidavits, and all documents regarding closings
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents; strong proofreading
- Effective communication skills demonstrating professional phone etiquette and client interaction capabilities
- Knowledge in computers, Karibe System, among other
