Piper Shores is Maine’s premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing Care for our residents with a person-centered approach to care. This role is a key member of the Environmental Services team, providing leadership and role modeling to others, by demonstrating quality in their work, and by ensuring that resident needs within the department are met.
Per diem opportunity
Shifts are 6:15a-3:15p
Responsibilities:

Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, cottages, common areas, assisted living and the health center, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting cleared flat surfaces.
- Practices safe work habits to prevent injury to self and others.

Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.

Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
Qualifications:

Prior experience in housekeeping preferred
- Warm and friendly demeanor with a positive approach to interacting with Seniors

Ability to stand and move for extended period of time, ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently required.
