ABC Sportscards and Gaming will be opening in Jacksonville this Fall. This will be the largest trading card store in North Florida and we are looking for knowledgeable staff for a variety of positions, including management. The retail storefront will be open 7 days/week and some staff will be traveling regularly to shows, both locally and nationwide.

As a vital part of our store, you will assist customers in discovering the latest cards, demonstrate products, and ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who love trading cards, enjoy retail sales, and excel in a fast-paced environment. All positions are paid, including internships, with room to grow within our vibrant community.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on sportscards and TCG products to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Assist with merchandising by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and maintaining attractive product layouts
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to encourage upselling and maximize sales opportunities
- Manage inventory by stocking new items, conducting stock checks, and updating product information regularly
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication skills
- Support store operations through cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and maintaining cleanliness and organization
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership roles
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math concepts
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customers
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, or grocery store environments is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to build lasting relationships with clients
- Ability to demonstrate products effectively and assist customers with product demos or inquiries
- Basic math skills for transactions, inventory management, and sales reporting
