ROLE SUMMARY
KNU-Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support the VP of Finance in managing day-to-day financial operations for multiple pharmacy clients. This is a full-time, remote-friendly role based in or near the Mobile, Birmingham, Atlanta, or New Orleans metropolitan areas.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role that sits at the intersection of healthcare, accounting, finance, pharmacy operations, and client services. The Senior Accountant will own the full accounting cycle across multiple covered entity pharmacy clients - managing the general ledger, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate month-end closings. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable processes, preparing client financial statements, analyzing variances, and providing insights on trends impacting revenue, expenses, and 340B program performance.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, is comfortable working across multiple client accounts simultaneously, and can build and maintain organized, well-documented work product with minimal supervision.
