Office Manager
Location: Newton, NJ
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Position Summary:
The Office Manager will be responsible for managing office operations, supporting the audiologist, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our patients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in management within a medical setting, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office operations with attention to detail and high energy.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist patients in-person and over the phone.
- Handle multiple incoming telephone lines, answer general questions, and schedule appointments.
- Assist with patient traffic management, including meeting, greeting, and aiding walk-in patients.
- Perform clerical tasks and support the audiologist as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and manage office documentation.
- Use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); training provided on office management software.
- Manage QuickBooks for financial and office management tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years prior management experience in a medical setting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with QuickBooks preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a patient, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively, especially with hearing-impaired patients.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology is a plus.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a medical or sales environment.
- Experience working with the senior population and/or handling insurance billing is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
