TWC JOB ORDER:
MONTHLY SALARY: $2,000.00/month
SHIFT: 20 HOURS/WEEK Fridays 1:30pm – 11:30pm; Sundays 9:00am – 7:00pm.
One time per month the work day may shift to Thursday and /or Monday. Must be available these days.

- Operates AB bus to safely drive students and staff ensuring their safe and timely arrival to destination.
- Complies with all driving laws, safety rules, standards, and regulations consistent with the operation of their assigned vehicle.
- Establishes and maintains appropriate and effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of duties including: staff, students and parents.
- Exercises good judgment, flexibility and caution; recognizes, reports and manages safety hazards and emergencies.
- Reports problems, unusual events and potential hazards in vehicle operation to the Weekends Home Supervisor and the maintenance team.
- Maintains vehicle cleanliness in concert with the trip chaperones.
- Maintains and submits timely, as required, a variety of records and reports including: pre and post-trip inspections, mileage log, routing, maintenance, and time schedules.
- Meets and maintains the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform the required duties. Including but not limited to transferring fully grown participants, loading luggage, sitting for long periods of time, and operating a wheel chair lift.
- Assesses unexpected events and reacts quickly with sound decisions in stressful situations when students may exhibit challenging and noisy behaviors.
- Assists as needed in supporting trip chaperones with the management of students. Assists students on and off vehicle at the stops.
- Attend work regularly in accordance with TSBVI leave policy.
- Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
- Perform related work as assigned.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Passenger Safety Certification and a clear driving record (Must maintain to remain in position).
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial or public transportation.
- Experience working with children with disabilities.
- School bus driver experience.
