Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is currently seeking experienced Service Writers / Service Advisors to join our team. Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset. A minimum of 2 years of automotive service advisor experience is preferred, and Dealertrack experience is a plus.
Position Overview
As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and technicians. You will help schedule service, communicate repair needs, and ensure customers fully understand recommended work. Your role is essential in delivering an exceptional service experience while upholding the highest ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and schedule service appointments
- Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle information
- Communicate customer requests to technicians and assist with diagnostics when needed
- Estimate repair costs and timelines while respecting customer schedules
- Provide clear explanations of repairs, findings, and charges
- Handle customer concerns professionally and maintain high satisfaction levels
- Monitor repair progress and communicate updates, including approval for additional work

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years as a Service Advisor preferred
- Proven record of excellent customer satisfaction
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and repair information
- Dealertrack experience is a plus
- Personal and professional integrity
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background check, MVR, drug test)
- Valid driver’s license required
