Job Overview
Pyramid Builders is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the construction of high-quality custom homes from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential construction, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional craftsmanship. This role involves directing all aspects of the custom home building process ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of custom home construction, from planning and permitting to final walkthrough and client delivery.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely, cost-effective completion.
- Partner and communicate with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Drive job site progress, ensuring the highest quality of fit & finish while prioritizing efficiency.
- Project documentation and reporting, including review and approval of billings, vendor invoices, change orders, and subcontracts.
- Resolve any construction-related challenges and provide innovative solutions, establishing a proactive approach.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing updates throughout the construction process.
- Oversee and coach site supervisors, field staff, and trade partners — maximizing performance and outcomes.
- Influence execution of build and design decisions, enhancing end result through confidently serving as the subject matter expert.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5-7 years’ experience & expertise managing high-end residential construction projects preferred.
- Must be experienced with understanding and managing project quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
- Extensive knowledge of residential construction methods & materials with ability to interpret plans.
- Excellent communication & organization skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Experience with project management and construction software systems, Premier is a plus.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
