Job Summary
Support a warehouse special project involving cleaning work areas and emptying bins of scrap material, including cans. The role requires physical work, proper handling of scrap materials, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Responsibilities
- Empty bins containing scrap materials, including cans.
- Collect and move scrap material to designated disposal or collection areas.
- Clean and organize work areas throughout the shift.
- Safely handle and move materials as required.
- Follow proper waste-sorting and disposal procedures.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Report spills, hazards, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate team member.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or general labour experience preferred.
- Able to perform repetitive lifting and physical work.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working around scrap materials and waste.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual.
