Your role:
We're seeking a personable and tech-savvy Customer Service Agent to expand our on-site team in Hauppauge, NY. You'll work closely with the rest of the team to troubleshoot issues, answer technical questions, and ensure our customers receive the support they need. If you're passionate about problem solving and have a penchant for computers and automotive technology, this is the perfect job for you! Especially so if you're familiar with the world of embedded systems, jailbreaking and DIY vehicle customization.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide fast, friendly, and knowledgeable support to our customers, dealers, and distributors through phone, email, and social media
- Gain hands-on experience with our products by installing and testing them in vehicles. Know our gear inside and out!
- Pass on feedback and customer suggestions to our engineers. Their voice matters and so does yours!
- Work full-time, in-person, Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM
Your previous experience:
- Advanced computer literacy (Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android)
- Troubleshooting electronic systems and devices
- Excellent communication skills: You're not just technically savvy, but you also know how to explain complex issues clearly.
- Customer service, help desk, or tech support experience preferred, but not required — we'll train the right candidate!
- Time-management skills and a commitment to problem-solving
- Passion for automotive tech: While general computer skills will help the most in this role, an enthusiasm for cars will shine through in your work!
