Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain in New Mexico
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Pediatric and school-based experience, preferably spanning early childhood and elementary levels
- Familiarity with IEP processes and delivering therapy in diverse school environments
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students K–12, adapting to a range of developmental and communication needs
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders; develop targeted treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all school, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, serving as a resource for families and staff
- Provide professional insight and support to a collaborative team of educators and related service providers
