Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Freelance Videographer to bring visual stories to life through compelling video content. As a vital part of our media production team, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage, managing all aspects of filming, and delivering polished videos that engage and inspire our audience. Duties
- Operate professional video recording equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and other accessories to ensure optimal footage quality.
- Plan and execute filming sessions, coordinating with clients or team members to understand project goals and creative direction.
- Set up camera angles, lighting schemes, and sound recording devices to enhance visual storytelling and audio clarity.
- Capture high-quality footage for various formats such as interviews, promotional videos, event coverage, and social media clips.
- Edit raw footage using media editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects to craft engaging final products.
- Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and color correction to elevate video quality and storytelling impact.
- Manage post-production processes including sound editing, audio mixing with microphones, and ensuring seamless integration of visuals and sound.
Experience
- Proven experience in videography with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse projects across different formats.
- Technical proficiency with camera setup, lighting techniques for video production, and sound recording for video production.
- Skilled in editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator), Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of media editing tools for color grading, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance video storytelling.
- Familiarity with photography principles to complement videography skills when needed.
- Ability to operate various video recording equipment confidently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling techniques that captivate audiences across multiple platforms.
