Automation Plastics is looking for Material Technician to support plastic part production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll help maintain material flow, prep materials, operate auxiliary equipment, and support operators to ensure smooth production.
Available Shifts:
- Midnights: 11:30 pm - 7:15 am *Will receive shift premium*
Key Responsibilities:
- Load machines and prep materials per job specs (BOM & work instructions)
- Maintain material handling systems and perform routine moisture/dryer checks
- Use IQMS for inventory, labels, and reporting
- Support housekeeping and 5S initiatives across the floor
- Operate and inspect forklifts and auxiliary equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ months of related experience
- Basic math and computer skills
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
Bonus: Knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment preferred.
