FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Clinical Services Coordinator to support medical administrative operations in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role will assist with scheduling, appointment confirmations, medical chart handling, insurance verification, and front and back office support. The ideal candidate will have medical administrative or medical assistant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to train and supervise incoming medical administrative staff and assistants.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising and training new incoming medical admins and assistants
- Placing calls to confirm appointments, interpreters, and court reporters for workers' compensation claims
- Scheduling doctors and medical assistants for shifts
- Handling medical charts digitally and manually
- Completing insurance verifications
- Assisting with front office duties as needed
- Assisting with back office duties as needed
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting daily clinical operations
- Communicating professionally with patients, providers, staff, interpreters, and related parties
- Supporting workers' compensation and medicolegal appointment coordination as needed
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Experience as a Medical Assistant or Medical Admin
- Experience with training and supervision
- Proficient data entry and typing skills
- Basic computer software knowledge, including MS Office Suite, ShareFile, Google Calendar, and other systems as needed
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
- Workers' compensation or medicolegal experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and use computer equipment for extended periods
- Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
- Ability to review medical charts, digital records, schedules, and computer screens for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the office as needed
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office or medical administrative materials
Salary Range: $18 to $22/hour DOE
