There are two available positions—one near Phoenix and one in the Peoria area—offering the rewarding chance to work closely with children and adolescents within a dynamic school environment.
Candidates will manage a K-12 caseload and collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their fullest potential. Both assignments are full-time, requiring onsite presence for 7.5 hours each weekday, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license (OT) in Arizona
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred
- Expertise in supporting diverse K-12 populations with varying needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite; remote or hybrid options are not available
- Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card preferred
- Not accepting COTAs for these roles
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and district guidelines
- Perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and support collaboration with school staff
- Educate students, families, and staff on strategies to enhance participation and independence
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
