Final Mile Mile Home Delivery company seeks an experienced Operations Manager with expertise in Final Mile furniture deliveries, and a strong skill set in operations, supervision, dispatch, and customer service. This position will manage operations and will lead and oversee all employees and contractors at the site.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but not limited to the following:
- Manage Final Mile Dock Load outs.
- Supervise multiple deliveries and teams for seamless delivery process as established by company.
- Support our customer’s expectations for all delivery services.
- Ensures safe and efficient operations.
- Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the company's policies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Meet costs, targets in a timely manner.
- Monitor morning load outs, and routes.
- Recruit Independent IC's.
- Assist the Customer Service Team in investigations and resolutions to customer or shipper complaints.
- Collaborate with other managers and staff members to achieve goals, and objectives.
- Must be flexible to work week-ends.
Skills + Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years plus logistics experience in similar role, preferably with Final Mile Home Delivery Background.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, excellent verbal, written, communication skills and excellent listening skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects while effectively communicating in a professional manner with all levels.
- Must possess both a strong personality and a desire to help.
- Must have a good demographic knowledge of the area.
- Must be computer proficient and comfortable with Word, Excel, Outlook and willing to learn our software.
- Tuesday - Saturday schedule; 5 AM - 3 PM

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
