This position is ideal for experienced Occupational Therapists who are passionate about making a difference in the educational environment. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering steady, full-time hours—35 hours per week, with a Monday through Friday schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting
- Deep understanding of IEP processes and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying student needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs and develop intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to achieve students’ educational goals
- Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Support the school’s mission to help every student reach their fullest potential
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultative services as required
