Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and overhaul mechanical systems including engines, suspensions, brakes, steering, and shocks & struts.
- Conduct engine repairs and maintain heavy equipment mechanics standards where applicable.
- Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop environments.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and mechanical systems repair.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in repairing transmissions, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, auto body repairs, and auto estimating processes.
- Ability to work with vehicle maintenance procedures on GM vehicles or similar makes; familiarity with auto body repair is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering quality workmanship and building trust with clients.
- Valid certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or equivalent are preferred but not required; ongoing training is encouraged.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
