We are looking for hard-working, dedicated individual to join our team of Laborers on a part-time or full-time basis. The ideal candidate must be proficient in general labor work, and have a dependable work ethic. Laborers are often responsible for cleaning, moving and maintaining equipment, ensuring a safe and secure work environment, and assisting employees with their daily tasks. This position requires heavy lifting, up to 50+ lbs consistently. Full PPE including full face respirator, coveralls, gloves and steel toe boots. ALL PPE is provided with the exception of the steel toe boots.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG SCREEN (EXCLUDING MARIJUANA) AND a PHYSICAL EVALUATION. All testing paid by company.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the performance of instrumentation including, but not limited to: ICP-OES, AAS, CVAA, Titrimetric, Balances (including Microbalances) and maintaining records thereof
- Calibrating, operating and analyzing samples by various analytical techniques
- Monitoring weighing and digestion equipment to ensure operation within defined parameters
- Weighing and digesting samples for various techniques such as gravimetric, cyanide, selective leaches, aqua regia and 4 acid determinations.
- Ensuring adequate inventory of consumable supplies (standards, tubing, glassware, etc.)
- Preparing reagents and standards for instrument calibration/analysis and maintaining records thereof
- Practicing good housekeeping.
- Communicate general laboratory issues to the Analytical Supervisor as appropriate
