We are hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local account serving Target out of Sacramento, CA. This is a local/yard reefer position - you are home every single day. Runs cover Sacramento and the Bay Area. This account offers stable daily home time with a nationally recognized customer. Immediate openings available.
PAY
- Starting rate: $24.00/hour
- Average weekly earnings: $1,400
- Pay increases with experience
- Paid weekly
JOB DETAILS
- Position: Full-Time - Dedicated Local/Yard Account
- Customer: Target
- Equipment: Reefer trailer
- Freight: Refrigerated freight
- Home Time: Home every day
- Routes: Local deliveries around Sacramento and Bay Area
- Shift: Both day and night shifts available
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- Must live within 40 miles of Sacramento, CA
- Clean driving record
- Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Physical ability for live unload and unload assist at delivery locations
- No special endorsements required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver refrigerated Target freight on local Sacramento and Bay Area routes
- Perform live unloads and unload assist at Target locations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD logs
- Follow all DOT regulations and safety policies
- Communicate with dispatch on trip progress
