Job Summary
Buffalo Homecare is actively hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) with an active New York State PCA certificate who are fluent in Russian and/or Ukrainian.
We are looking for caring, dependable, and professional caregivers to provide personal care and daily living assistance to clients in their homes. If you are passionate about helping others and want to join a supportive team, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
- Assist with safe transfers and ambulation, including the use of Hoyer lifts when required.
- Observe and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition.
- Follow each client's individualized care plan.
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
Qualifications
- Active New York State Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Certificate (Required).
- Fluent in Russian and/or Ukrainian (Required).
- Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers.

Pay: $18.65 - $20.00 per hour
