We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in residential settings. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing a variety of cleaning tasks, managing laundry, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers to ensure optimal performance
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and safety regulations
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens for clients
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or appliances with proper technique to prevent injury
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces when required, including patios or entryways, through outdoor work experience
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services while ensuring client satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
- Strong knowledge of cleaning detergents, surface cleaning techniques, and floor care methods
- Ability to perform carpet cleaning and implement proper sanitation practices across various surfaces
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Experience with housekeeper management or supervising other cleaning staff is a plus
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary
