Pay: $28.00 to $42.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: . You will be scheduled for a 5-day, 8-hour shift pattern with two consecutive days off. Flexibility to occasionally work overtime, sometimes with short notice, is required.
Location: Merced County (cities include Merced, Livingston, Atwater, etc.)

Job Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of facilities and equipment through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical issues. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will also play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and other components.
- Inspects disassembled or malfunctioning machinery to determine cause of trouble and type of repairs required.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks, general repairs.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support ongoing maintenance efforts.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits and components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Serves as a member of Safety Committee and supervises day-to-day maintenance practices to ensure OSHA compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years related experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in a similar environment
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and guidelines
- Excellent record keeping, attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with superiors, co-workers and subordinates
