Join our vibrant Firefly Fitness team as a Preschool Gymnastics Coach, where your energy and expertise will inspire young children to develop their motor skills, emotional regulation, confidence, and love for physical activity! Duties
- Design and deliver age-appropriate gymnastics lessons that emphasize fundamental skills such as balance, coordination, and flexibility
- Create a lively, motivating atmosphere that encourages children to participate actively and confidently in class activities
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper use of equipment.
- Incorporate elements of yoga when appropriate to encourage focus and emotional regulation.
- Engage children in various physical activities such as dance, cheerleading, yoga and gymnastic. drills to diversify their experience
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress during classes
- Maintain a clean, organized gym environment that promotes safety and readiness for each session
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in a childcare or teaching setting is highly preferred
- Background in sports coaching or physical education instruction is advantageous
- Knowledge of child development principles related to physical activity and motor skill acquisition
- Experience working with students in structured environments such as gyms, sports clubs, or community centers is desirable
