Duties
- Safely operate a box truck for a designated route, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary, following safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers promptly, providing friendly and professional customer service at each stop
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries accurately in the company system
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are maintained; report any issues immediately
- Follow route driving plans efficiently to maximize productivity while maintaining safety standards
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading packages onto vehicles and organizing inventory when needed.
Pay: $215.00 - $235.00 per day
